Our current fleet of pristine vehicles currently stands at 110, and are at most only 5 years-old (2 years-old on average). We’re proud to have been a member of the United Rentals Group for over 30 years and of course are registered with the British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA). As a company, we’re reliable, licensed and fully trust-worthy. If you’re planning on renting a vehicle to be self-driven, you’ll need to ensure that the designated driver passes the following criteria for the relevant vehicle type:
A category D1 driving license must be obtained for any COMN or CMNM mini-busses. This category of license will be automatically obtained within any license gained before January 1st 1997. Any persons whose was license gained after this date will be required to apply for a D1 category license. The minimum age for this application is 21 years old. Thus, anyone hoping to drive a vehicle of this type must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Similarly, for any IVAR/MR vehicles, the driver must again be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid driving license for at least one year.
For FVMR, SVAR/SVMR vehicles the driver must be at least 25 years of age and have held a valid driving license for at least three years.
Any non-EU citizens may only drive vehicles with a maximum of 9 seats. (IVAR, FVMR & SVAR category vehicles) For further information on our terms of use, feel free to visit our Terms of Use page.
